Loica church is erected on one single nave and, currently, does not have images or anything inside so that it seems abandoned; but, in spite of the deterioration, it opens its doors to some festivities and meetings of singers to the human and divine things of life, thanks to the community that strives for keeping it standing and keeping alive the tradition of poet singers.
Lintelled ceiling is painted in light blue and has wooden moldings painted in white and golden yellow. It has wooden floors. The wooden Main Altar is painted in light blue, white and golden yellow two, and depicts Corinthian-style columns and pilasters. There is a wooden pulpit with soundboard, painted in light blue and some details in white.
For its rustic characteristics, the confessional is still a very attractive piece, despite its bad conditions.
The choir and its balustrade are made of wood.
Image of Loica’s Baby Jesus, town’s patron, is a plaster figure that is secure in the Parish House. As the story goes, this image would have been found after estuary had overflowed many years ago causing mud and water accumulate. The image would have been carried away with the flow until it arrived at the church door, without one hand. Supposedly it came from some estate chapel, and it found its place in this church.
