The construction method and shape of this church are characteristic of rural buildings in Chile. It has stone foundations, adobe walls painted in white, wooden beams and clay roof tiles.
Façade is composed of an entrance atrium formed by 5 semicircular arches: one, the most important in the middle; and four lateral ones, two on either side. The central one is crowned with a triangular pediment, which in the center has a niche with a semicircular arch containing an angel figure. Symmetry of construction is interrupted by the bell tower, located on the right-hand side, comprising three cubic drums, the upper drum having 8 sides, and crowned with a spire with a cross.
Access is through a double-wing wooden door, with a lintel decorated with a disc where the letters associated to Christ’s monogram are printed: JHS. Building layout is rectangular, with a simple lintel system in the ceiling with exposed beams, some of them carved. Lateral walls have windows on their upper side, with double semicircular arches and separated by a Solomonic decorated pillar.
Altar area is identified from the rest of the space by a big semicircular arch. The wall behind has a niche crowned with a semicircular arch to contain a devotional image, which is decorated with paintings in the wall.
